Fall TBR
I am a sucker for reading books that thoroughly transport me to their world. I also find myself doing everything possible to live in books when I read them. I adore flagging pages that describe foods I can cook later or finding books based on places I am going to visit. Before my trip to Japan, I read The Cat with Three Passports by C. J. Fentiman and loved reading about different culture aspects of Japan before visiting. I also tried really hard to read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt before going to Savannah but I could not get into that book.

Must Love Scones and Secrets | Must Love Moss and Moonshine by Maisy Magill
These two books are my top recommendations for this list. I devoured these two books when I stumbled upon Maisy on Instagram. They are very cozy reads with lots of food blended into the stories seamlessly. She also has a cookbook with recipes from her books so you can cook some of them if you are interested in that. Be aware, these do contain a bit of spice. Maisy also has another book out called Must Love Libraries and Libations. I have it ordered and it will be here soon!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe | The Cinnamon Bun Book Store by Laurie Gilmore
I have read The Pumpkin Spice Cafe and it was an adorable cozy read. There was a little bit of tension between characters but these are definitely HEA books with all the cozy vibes. I picked up The Cinnamon Bun Book Store while I was at Romantically Yours this year but I am saving it for a slightly cooler day when I can pop homemade cinnamon rolls in the oven and curl up on the couch to devour it. It is worth noting, she has other seasonally inspired books (I picked up a winter one this weekend) so look for her other works if you are into that vibe.

Astor Hill by Sydney Madison
I know nothing about this book other than the author is SUPER SWEET and her book cover feels fall. I met Sydney at Romantically Yours this year and fell in love with the vibes of the book. I will definitely update once I read it.

Make your bookish weekend perfection by ordering a charcuterie board from Gather and Graze so you can sit back with your drink of choice and a no fuss dinner.
